Many men served during the Vietnam Era and prior by working for the CIA's Air America campaign. Often they were kickers on airplanes who helped to deliver supplies, landing in hostile areas and in general had many risks involved to their own safety for the maintenance of democracy and the freedoms that we enjoy as American Citizens. Yet, they have never been recognized for their important contributions to the Vietnam War, and because they were not considered military, to date have not been able secure VA benefits. Unfortunately, some of these men suffer from PTSD and are in need of care. As American Citizens we owe this to our brave men and women.
