We demand that a hotline be created to anonymously report people who may be at risk for violent behavior. We demand that these reports be treated as seriously as the reports of suspicious terrorist activity to the department of Homeland Security.
We demand that the sale of weapons be vetted in a meaningful way that eliminates sales to people at risk for violent behavior, and the gun salespeople be held responsible for guns used by mentally ill people.
We demand that mental health professionals take a wide variety of health insurances to assure that people who need psychiatric help can afford it.
