Mental Illness Healthcare Reform

I created this petition to call attention to the system that treats mental illness. The funding for mental illness healthcare has been cut several times, while other less important systems are being funded. People with psychiatric disorders and their families, are plagued by medical bills of unsuccessful treatment and medication. These patients deserve the proper funding and attention from the United States Government. America needs to reform part of the educational system as well. Students need to learn about mental illness to understand the disorders and to rid the stigma attached to the words. Hate comes from ignorance and to heal ignorance you need to educate.
