The rights of mentally disabled citizens have been a concern. They are an abused group of Americans
A possible solution to fix the abuse of their incompetence is to provide extra rights for their caregivers. This extra voice would allow the caregivers of mentally disabled citizens to have an extra partial vote.
One guardian of a mentally disabled person could have an extra three quarters of a vote instead of the mentally incompetent individual.
Proof of long-term care would be required to receive this extra portion of a vote. The guardian would have to care for the mentally disabled individual for at least a year before this law would include them.
