We all have our personal struggles; Some more than others. We simply pass one another by without a care in the world. Though, speaking first hand from someone who struggles week to week, the smallest gesture can literally change someone's day, week or even life. Whether it be paying for the person's coffee behind you at Starbuck's or buying a random dozen roses at the grocery store and walking around, handing them to every person that looks like they could use a boost up in their day. This petition is merely a platform to pull out the best in humanity. Some people NEED an official day to wake them up. Some do not. Perhaps an official day could make a huge impact on the goodness of humanity and the long lost kindness that most don't see anymore. Let's be the difference. So simple.
