Based on the the 2008 and 2012 election results, the majority of counties in Illinois voted for the Republican candidate. However, the population of the Chicago-metro area voted for the Democratic candidate. As a result, the electoral vote for Illinois went to the Democratic candidate.
In addition, the City of Chicago prevents Illinois from having a Conceal and Carry Weapons law. Illinois is the only remaining state that prohibits Conceal and Carry.
This petition will bring Illinois back to the United States of America and away from the tyranny and corruption of Chicago.
