Merge the H.R. and Senate into one unified body, Congress. One that doesn't yield to "special interests" or corruption.

The two separate bodies like the Senate and House of Representatives that make up "Congress", have shown themselves to toy with vital laws that affect domestic tranquility and national defense to protect special interests. Essentially blocking the legislative process and bringing a democracy to a halt. By merging the two, our government could progress and get the issues that are prudent to us passed. The only difference is that states would get a vote on what affects us federally and our government wouldn't stand at a 13% approval rating. Judiciary and Executive Branches are balanced with 1 power, Congress doesn't need 2 to exist. Amend the constitution for that at least, we declared independence from a government that was destructive; Why can't we at least change one for the better?
