The metal detectors compliance should also be mandatory as part of the Special Event Permit Application that must be submitted to the Community Services Department no earlier than one (1) calendar year and no later than sixty (60) business days prior to the day of the event. To inprove flow of people entering such events or private businesses that hold more that 150 people atvany given time then multiple metal detectors should be placed just like the airports operate. Detectors can be rented or purchased. A trained individual would monitor the process This implementation will increase jobs.
