The Michael Brown Law requires the investigations into any killing of unarmed civilian(s) by local police in the United States be handled by the DOJ in an effort to circumvent cover-up, fleeing suspects, violent clashes between community and police, information and press restriction, police misconduct and other abuses of authority by the local principality and/or police force. The name of the officer(s) will be immediately released to the press, said officer(s) will hand over their badge, gun and be removed from duty without pay. If found guilty of misconduct, said officer(s) can never serve as an officer in the US again, forfeit their pension and be tried for murder.6000+ civilians have been shot by local police since 9/11 with over 25% being unarmed.
