This petition is important to me and millions of other people because Michael Jackson was and still is a huge inspiration to me and millions of other people across the world. I wish to make August 29th national Michael Jackson Day for his success. His love for life and his fans was outstanding as he was really a larger than life figure. His music brought peace to the world, broke racial barriers, and made people happy. He is the worlds all time greatest entertainer and perhaps artist as his voice and talent were god given and their will never be anyone like him ever again. He still has the record for most albums sold with his album thriller which is incredible as thriller came out in 1982 when the music industry wasnt at its best. He brought music back and made it what it is today.
