Middle schoolers are required each year to go to a job shadowing

Middle schoolers are asked what job interest them from a list of local jobs. Then the school asks local business if the children can job shadow them for an hour. Each child will get one on one with employee. They will also be supurivised by a teacher. For example. A child wants to work for the police. They get put with a guy that works in the office instead of the field.
