President Bashar al-Assad has waged war on his people for two years. He has ordered his forces to attack civilian areas as well as the rebel groups that seek to oust him from power. Over 70,000 Syrians have been killed in this war. It is imperative that the United States use military action in assisting the rebels' cause.
