The President should so order his Joint Chiefs of Staff, to mobilize a battalion sized compliment of US soil stationed troops to hand file the backlogs of reports, forms, filings, and various highly important documents currently sitting at various veterans benefit granting Federal agencies. US Vets. returning from Iraq can't receive disability or other promised benefits for over 8-12 months. These 8-12+ month delay in payments are because of computer SNAFU's. Therefore, a one-three week mobilization of US stationed troops, sleeping in the parking lots of the agencies if need be, should be deployed to unclog the system by hand sorting and filing the documents with the proper agencies. This mobilization would ensure those still serving that they experience no backlog upon retiring service.
