Military Pay Increase

Created by G.K. on February 14, 2014

Increase military base pay by 22.5% in comparison to the proposed minimum wage increase from the Country's average of $7.75 to $10, which will make military's pay comparable to other civil servants.

Our soldiers have some of the most physical demanding jobs; they go to war; they experience traumas that are physically, mentally, and emotionally draining; families are separated for extended periods of time during deployments; there are military families that have such a low military base pay that they are almost living off of government subsidies and some are, but they do it for the safety and freedom of our Country. We should stand behind our troops and increase their pay to accommodate these sacrifices and help boost our economy even further.
