minimize the amounts of standardized testing in a student's environment.

Created by J.W. on September 21, 2015

In the Academic system, it is a mandatory procedur for students to take a multitude of standardized testing in various subject areas. One prime example of standardized testing is Texas' STAAR testing. STAAR provides a rigorous learning schedule that can at times be really hard to stay on track of. A lot of teachers struggle meeting with the material required for this testing. Not only does this rigorous testing hinder a student's learning, it costs $90 million annually to administer the tests throughout Texas. The problem doesn't stop with the annual cost, but the rapid growth in this state will end up leading to more costing and just gradually increase. This money could be used to updating outdated books. For desks and the construction of better environments. For the student and the ISD.
