We the people believe that gun-free zones are open places to occur a mass shooting due to no personal protection against a gunman. So therefore the gunman can shoot as many people as he/she wishes without any repercussions until official authorizes arrive on scene. If the citizens have the opportunity to protect themselves and their families against gunmen/ criminals in "gun-free zones" this could minimize mass shootings. The legislators do not realize that more shootings happen in populated areas that are most likely not protected properly. Criminals will always find a weapon of his/her choosing to commit a crime of his/her liking. We the people believe that the government should enforce, encourage, and educate the second amendment to its citizens for a fighting chance.
