Isn't only fair that ALL elected officials work for minimum wage? Shouldn't the prestige of holding an elected public office be sufficient? Maybe government officials would make better choices when creating new legislation if they were bound to abide by the decisions they make. Wouldn't saving the money from their exorbitant salaries free up extra money to help balance our national debt? Or even use that money to provide for education, prevent American's from being homeless in America, or to fix, repair, and replace as needed, the crumbling American infrastructure? Lets end poverty in America! We can do this YES WE CAN!
