According to Concordia University, 22.1% of high school students work part-time while attending school. These students are, many under the age of 18, tax paying citizens who do not have the right to vote. This is taxation without representation. The American Revolution was started with this slogan, and it disapoints me that the government has yet to hold this ideal. I propose that Congress amends the Constitution and allow all working tax payers the right to vote, no matter the age.
