For quite some time, women's rights activists have requested a woman be minted onto a bill, rather than just commemorative coins. However, what they did not realize is a compromise that was obvious the entire time. Eliza Hamilton, wife of Alexander, would be a perfect candidate for a woman on a bill. Furthermore, she could be placed in conjunction with her husband so that the founder of the national bank may continue his legacy on the ten dollar bill.
