The Obama Administration has a moral obligation to ameliorate poverty and reduce socio-economic inequality. This will be completed through lessening wasteful spending, overhauling failing systems, and expanding effective systems that are in place. The United States should take precedent from countries like Norway or Finland that have effective and boisterous welfare systems. This has led these countries to have 2% and 3% unemployment rates effectively as well as having a minute number of impoverished individuals. As the most prosperous country on Earth, the United States has not only a responsibility but an obligation to reduce the amount of poverty in this country. Life should be an entitlement.
