The education system in America is not working out so well. In the world we rank 14th in reading,17th in science and 25th in math according to theguardian.com. Compared to Finland who is 2nd in reading and math, plus they are 1st in science its obvious they are doing something right. It's also obvious that more tests = more stress. Kids naturally want to learn but the constant testing and time-consuming,stress filled homework assignments overwhelm students. Teaching in Finland is regarded very highly, almost sacred. The Finnish system is based on more time between and after class. Which allows students to relax a little more and be more comfortable at school. Additionally, going to school in Finland is free,all the way past college. That way no one is left out, and can follow their dreams
