Every American is entitled to their own opinion on gun control. The current debate in DC is not evoking what the heart of the average American feels. This is a call to take a more moderate approach by enacting and/or supporting the following:
-Create a law requiring a background check to purchase any firearm. Individuals selling firearms must use a broker to carry through with a transaction.
-Require individuals to register all firearms with brokers.
-Create laws for violent crimes initiated by firearms where the person carrying out the act is not the registered owner of the firearm. A law for both the firearm owner and the initiator, unless the firearm has been reported stolen.
