Currently, medical facilities have to bill medicare either by using paper forms or a dial-up modem. The dial-up modem is antiquated technology. They are slow, hard to locate and service, and inefficient to operate because they are so outdated. CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicade Services) needs to move into the 21st century and allow businesses to bill medicare through the internet.
