We need to invest money into schools to prepare our kids to compete with the rest of the world and up and coming nations. We need to invest money into technology and modern forms of lessons, challenging both students and educators to use non-conventional ways to learn and grow to better prepare our students for the real world. Things like getting rid of the current school structure and creating new and challenging ways for students to learn, forcing teachers to take a vested part in their students learning process. We need a bigger focus on fine arts, music, culture, humanitarian issues, and understanding other countries and cultures. The current status quo is not working and we face a point where our children and future won't be able to compete any longer.
