The United States Constitution and Bill of Rights was created in 1789 during times of slavery and revolutionary war. Obviously a lot of things have changed since it's first creation. While it might not be a popular thing to do I am pushing for the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to be modernized while keeping the freedoms that it holds intact.
For example the first amendment is freedom of speech and freedom of press. While I believe in keeping freedom of speech I do not believe the press should have the freedom to do as they please, and write any news story they please even if the news story is false. As well as the second amendment the right to bear arms. Our guns are more modern now and more deadly. If we update our laws why don't we update the Bill of Rights for current times?
