As it stands right now, those that live in states where their own political views differ from the norm feel that their votes don't matter. This is all because of the winner take all system of the electoral college.
I propose we increase the number of the electoral college votes for each state and required to win by 400% (4x as many).
The new representatives will be divided up as follows:
1/3 of representatives to the popular vote of the state
1/3 of the representatives to the districts of the state
1/3 of the representatives to the counties of the state
These would then be subdivided and allocated based on the percentages of the vote won. This would allow all Americans, regardless of state, to feel like their votes truly matter.
