Modify national child support policy to provide equal participation in child support usage and transparent spending by requiring that the child be provided with a separate account for support payments from both parents (as calculated by the courts based on current support methods, with both parent's payments being monitored rather than just the non-custodial parent) that can be viewed and used by both parents for purchasing necessities for the child. Each parent would maintain receipts for all purchases made from the child's account for at least a year, during which time either parent would be allowed to dispute purchases by first requesting documentation and then by taking legal action as necessary for a minimum amount. Pre-approved necessities should include current court requirements.
