The island of Puerto Rico has had it's credit labeled as "junk" by S&P and local gvernment has taken this situation as a mere "blame game" . For more than 30 years local politicians have been living the good life while the middle class and poor citizens are "slapped" with the bill. The lesgislature has abused it's power and have transformed this government branch into a VIP "club" where only a few get in it and refuse to get out regardless of how much damage they do to the island. The problem also spreads to the city governments were majors are also living spoiled lives due to the "joys" of beng a politician in Puerto Rico. And again the hard wrking people are paying the bill for their luxurious lifestyle.
