30,000 gun deaths occur a year and approximately 37% go unsolved. Through requiring bullet micro stamping and gun registration, gun crimes can be more thoroughly tracked. Many people acquire guns through gun shows and private transactions. People's ability to aquire guns must continue, but not knowing who owns or uses weapons that can be used in crimes puts all citizens in danger of unsolvable crimes being perpetrated against them. The criminals who jeopardize our 2nd Ammendment right through their heinous acts deserve to be properly prosecuted and brought to justice to allow law abiding citizens to maintain and protect their right to bear arms.
