Thousands of urban foreclosed houses are being purchased, repaired and rented, but the owners are failing to make sure the property is being maintained. Undesirable people are moving into well kept neighborhoods and are selling drugs, playing loud music and not mowing their lawns. In many cases you never see the owners unless the tenants fail to pay their rent.
I would like to see federal stipulations created for purchasers who rent their property. The stipulation would make sure that owners stay in physical contact with their renters to make sure that the property is maintained and does not become a nuisance property.
