The purpose of the petition is to let the state and local government be aware that the working class and low income have a voice. When dealing with the issue of homelessness in Austin, Texas and the way the programs are opperated by federal, state, and local government and it's unfair treatment of applicants. And the increasing number of the homeless ratio and residents that have lost their dweling due to the lack of housing assistance.
