Monsanto's new GMO Crop, The USDA Failure to Protect the Public and Violation of U.S. Code 241.

Created by J.O. on January 17, 2015

On Thursday U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) gave Monsanto's GMO cotton and soybean crops "non-regulated” status.

The new GMO crops contain a dicamba-glyphosate combination. Dicamba has been linked to high rates of cancer and birth defects in numerous studies by both the government and scientists.

They are now awaiting approval from the EPA.

“If EPA also reneges on its responsibility to protect human and environmental health, Center for Food Safety will pursue all available legal options to halt the introduction of these dangerous crops.” Andrew Kimbrell, Executive Director, Center for Food Safety.

We are requesting the President step in and stop approval before anymore damage is done.
