We are grateful for the previous actions taken by the US government to prevent global climate change and protection of endangered species, but we are calling for more immediate action that will create change now and not just the creation of policies that will only take action many years into the future. Please increase that amount of clean energy that is being produced, place even larger restrictions on the amount of carbon emissions being produced by companies, increase the number of opportunities that citizens have to compost, and create government programs that will protect endangered species to help them thrive. Work with other nations that are taking an initiative to combat global warming and climate change to turn this into a global effort.
