The United States is the only country that holds its Election Day on a Tuesday. This makes no practical sense. Why are we set on this traditional of holding the election on the Tuesday after the first Monday of November? We should change this and move Election Day - even for off year or midterm years - to weekend voting where people can vote on Saturday and Sunday. This would make voting more feasible for more Americans, increasing civic participation in our country.
