These people that are committing these tragedies are obviously mentally unstable individuals. There probably are are warning signs beforehand. Instead of increasing security and over-policing normal, stable, law-abiding citizens like the majority of us, we need good psychologists, therapists and social workers being funded to try and help these unstable, violent potential 'nut-jobs' (for lack of a better word) at the source. That would be real tragedy prevention.
