We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

More help for second hand victims of sexual harassment and or assault among military and dependents.

Created by K.A. on September 03, 2016

There is a fair amount of studies showing that even as just a witness to sexual harassment / assault can be fairly traumatic to some people. Yes the military has counciling. But it doesn't help if the witness still has to live in the area which reminds them of the incident or perpetrator(s). I propose it be required the witness can have at a minimum an interpost transfer to a different unit, per their request. Not left up to chain of command, Chaplin, or behavioral health providers. Do not make them suffer the daily reminder of the incident or perpetrator(s). Because they may not have a say where they live in a certain section on government installation, such as in the barracks.
