Legal Holidays For Workers

Most companies give there employees the following holidays off: Dec. 31- New Year's Eve, Jan. 1 - New Year's Day, May 25- Memorial Day, July 4, Sept. 7- Labor Day, Nov.26- Thanksgiving. While other companies give more holidays off

Now I think the following should be consider legal holidays for all workers meaning they should have two choices, they can work on all the holidays listed below and should get paid overtime or they if they want all the holidays off then they should get regular paid days. The days are:
Martin Luther King Day
Valentine's Day
President's Day
Lincoln's Birthday
St.Patrick's Day
Good Friday
Flag Day
Sept.11
Columbus Day
Election Day
Veterans Day
