More prison time for sexual offenders, mandated treatment services and rigorous psychological evaluation

Created by J.D. on January 21, 2016

We the people deserve safer communities. Sexual predators are among the worse criminal offenders imaginable. These people destroy lives and are often far more devious and dangerous than that of which their specific crime(s) entail or indicate. Not only do these people have a high percentage of repeating the same or similar crime(s), often times their victims and members of both the offender and the victims' families become criminals and/or victims of substance abuse as well. As such, sexual criminals are an epidemic and too often receive light sentencing, inaccurate psychological evaluations and spend little to no time in therapy/counseling. These people need help, letting them "slide by" does not allow them or our communities to get the help that is needed.
