More Reliable Drug Testing by Sample Verification.

Created by M.C. on November 17, 2015

I would like to see a reform in how drug tests are done for all federal employees. Due to the high rate of false positives and the ever increasing chance of errors ranging from: broken custody of samples to the wrong samples being tested. This could be done with a simple comparison of DNA to ensure the sample that is positive for substances does in fact belong to the individual whom had given the sample. I know of several cases where people whom do not partake in drug that have failed a drug test and have lost not only credibility but also their jobs and savings fighting in court trying to prove that they are in fact not users. This would also help by keeping appeals of such tests out of the court systems allowing for a better flow of the Justice system. This only protects the innocent.
