Fellow Americans,
America is in deep trouble economically! One part of the solution is to fully metricate our nation. With a population that is fully versed and engaged in the use of the metric system, we can become more able to compete in the global marketplace. If we continue the isolationism of using our old units, we will fall further and further behind. We need to metricate ourselves and ask that our government fully support metrication in a visible way across our great nation. Let's beat 'em at their own game! I ask that the government step up and begin a plan to fully metricate our infrastructure. Let's study Australia's example. Let's join in the effort and help our country regain some competitiveness!
