The Equal Pay Act was enacted in 1963. Since then, there have been countless incidents of workplace discrimination in which women did NOT receive equal pay for equal work. I urge the President and his Administration to crack down on Equal Pay laws so that all women receive the equal pay they deserve. It is not enough to simply enact the law, the government must continue to enforce it. If numerous companies are able to continue violating this law, then it is not being adequately enforced.
