The livestock industry need reform in the following ways:
1. The treatment of the animals must be more humane; including larger living space, better food, resulting in happier lives for the animal.
2. The industry needs to remove the addition of hormones to animals.
3. The industry must proper treat and dispose of animal waste, to prevent agricultural issues.
4.Give government subsidies to local organic farmers rather than to the industry giants.
5.Press charges against Tyson Co for crimes against animals and humanity.
This will obviously raise the price of meat, however as a result people may actually eat some vegetables.
