A mothers son passed away from suicide. He was very depressed. The high school needs to recognize that he did not die of suicide 'per say', but as a result of severe depression that resulted in suicide.
This mother should be allowed to walk for her son and receive his diploma. Other parents have walked for their kids at this very high school. They died from other causes, but the parents were not stripped of their right to receive the diploma on their behalf. If the school & district will not allow it, and the county says it is not their decision, maybe The White House can do something about it.
