Fully protected medical/military professionals (FPMPs) are the ONLY authorized travelers to & from W.Africa until Ebola is under complete control. FPMPs in W.Africa fighting Ebola may only return to the U.S. in small (1-2) groups & will be isolated & tested regardless of whether or not they display symptoms. All are then required to be isolated & monitored for a minimum of 28 days to ensure they are free of Ebola before being allowed to have contact with anyone other than FPMPs.Those with Ebola will be treated only by FPMPs following strictly monitored protocol. Surviving patients will remain isolated for a minimum of 8 weeks after recovery to ensure that Ebola is not passed to another living being. Bodies will be disposed of only by FPMPs so as to ensure no living being will be exposed.
