Every politician including the President is responsible for the
fact that we have a fiscal cliff. State and local governments, schools as well have furloughed personnel (cutting pay)Police Officers, Deputy Sheriffs, Firemen, EMT's, School Teachers and every other walk of government has taken cuts in pay to help solve the economic problem. Not by their choosing. So, WHY WERE the POLITICIANS not included in cutbacks and layoffs.
I propose a cut in pay of 5% a week for Washington's Mighty. Making it retroactive to the date they allowed America's Credit Rating to drop and this invisible cliff to appear.
They agreed to the Cliff last summer knowing their intent to not work for the people that sent them to D.C. The politicians
still need to be paid but capped at 25% until fiscal year 2014 .
