Motivation for the White House and Congress to meet the January 1, 2013 Budget Compromise deadline.

Created by J.L. on November 14, 2012

Since Congress imposed a deadline of January 1, 2013 to produce a budget before automatic tax hikes take place, they and the White House should be motivated to get it completed before the deadline.

Congress, the President and Vice-President and their staff's shall go without any pay or compensation effective December 15, 2012 until this work is complete. There shall be no "Christmas break" or any other vacations or holidays for anyone needed to vote on or sign this issue. If the automatic hikes take effect, all elected officials shall forfeit an additional 90 days pay for failure to complete their jobs on time.

There will be no political rhetoric concerning pay for the Military, or Social Security payments. Those payments shall be guaranteed to be made.
