Mount pressure on the government of Sudan to set Meriam Ibrahim free and reverse her death sentence NOW!!!

Meriam Ibrahim a heavily pregnant mother from Sudan is at risk of been executed for proclaiming her constitutional and religious rights. A Sudanese court has sentenced her to death by hanging and 100 lashes after convicting her on charges of apostasy and adultery. Meriam was born to a Christian woman from Ethiopia and a Sudanese Muslim man. Meriam was raised solely by her mother as her father was entirely absent even when she was a child. The 27-year-old woman who is married to a U.S citizen was sentenced to death Thursday morning after she refused to denounce her Christian faith stating that she was raised as a Christian from childhood. She is currently in jail alongside her 20-month-old son. The world can no longer watch in passivity the senseless killing of innocent people
