as a foreign-born United States Citizen, having been born in Nairobi, Kenya, I believe that I should be able to run for the Presidency of the United States of America. We must supplant the nation's irrational fear of other nations (xenophobia), and pave the way for immigrants to stand equal in the eyes of the Constitution. I propose that men and womyn who have been U.S. Citizens for 35 years should have the right to enter into candidacy for the U.S. Presidency. This is the same as it is for U.S. born nationals. They must be on the planet for 35 years and U.S. Citizens for the same. I see no reason why a foreign born citizen cannot sit in the White House if the same standards of citizenship apply to him or zer (sic, her).
