The Democratic and Republican parties have had complete control of all Presidential debates through the Commission on Presidential Debates since 1988. For all intents and purposes, the commission was set up to block "third party" nominees from televised debate. The refusal of the parties and their standard-bearers to engage in debate with third party candidates is dishonorable, cowardly, and undemocratic.
The American People deserve to hear from "third party" candidates. The Commission on Presidential Debates must be disbanded and replaced with a more fair, more democratic system whereby the American People can hear more voices.
