Providing a renewable energy policy by adding solar roofs to the homes owned by active duty military, us military retirees, and the working poor. For the Military and vets, it could be part of the GI BILL Funding for home purchases, for the working poor it could be done as a grant paid back with any excess monies their roof generates in power, freeing up cash for the receivers to spend on the economy. As the latter fund grows, from the exess power paid by power companies, the levels of foreign fuels imported will drop, the cost of power over all will drop, and the prices will not fluctuate as much, less co2 emitted and more jobs, ones that can't be outsourced, will remain here. A further benefit will be the economies of scale will make solar panels cheaper for more people.
